Wedding Ceremony Service

We can provide comprehensive wedding ceremony service for your wedding.  Usually tied together with the Wedding and Reception,  we have comprehensive packages that include:

  • Separate Pro Audio P.A. Sound System (In addition to my main sound system)
  • Wireless Lapel-Type Microphones, x2 (Groom + Officiate)
  • Additional Microphones - for singers or readers
  • Customized Wedding Ceremony Music (if needed)
  • Additional Inputs for musicians, guitarists, etc. if needed

"But, I don't need speakers and microphones!"

I hear this often, early on.  I also hear, more often afterwards, complaining guests coming in from the ceremony that they just "watched" but couldn't hear.  Why?  Our voices just don't carry - especially under the sweet emotion of your wedding or warm breeze of the ocean coming off the sand! 

If your wedding is going to be larger than 50 people or outside or in a noisy area, it is highly recommended to include sound reinforcement (amplification) for your ceremony service.  Even if you have musicians, it still may be required.  This basically includes all of above, minus the customized ceremony music. 

Of course, if you don't want anybody to hear your "I Do's" then all of this may not be needed.  Hey, it's 'your' day :)

Wedding Ceremony "PLUS" Package Included

I highly recommend using a coordinator. Why?  Not only for the overall service you receive from them but speicifcally for the Ceremony, do you know the steps you'll take during your ceremony?  Who comes down the aisle with whom and when and to what songs?  Do you have someone onsite dedicated to coordinating and directing your ceremony?

But, let's face it, not everyone has it in their interest or budget to hire a coordinator.

After years of assisting brides and grooms when there is NOT a coordinator present, I have designed a comprehensive package to offer additional coverage and assistance for the ceremony:

  • Additional pre-planning and ceremony design assistance during our final planning meeting(s)
  • Additional 30 minutes of service - I'll be setup extra early to assist in getting your bridal party and families lined up and ready to go.
  • Onsite ceremony coordination - queing your wedding party, overseeing the steps, directing the ceremony to ensure it runs smoothly.

*NOTE The Ceremony & Reception “PLUS” package includes pre-planning and onsite assistance with your ceremony.  This package should NOT be used if you have a professional outside coordinator assisting you during the ceremony.

Wedding Receptions

I thoroughly enjoy conducting approximately 90% of my work servicing Weddings and Wedding Receptions.  Your wedding reception will be planned perfectly through our custom consultation to ensure you and your guests will have a great time.  Many traditional receptions follow something like this:

  • Cocktail Hour - I'll play a soothing mix of cocktail music of your choice.  Modern, Jazzy, Classical, Whatever you wish!  Is your cocktail hour outside, or in a different room?  No worries, I've got a second sound system for that.
  • Bridal Party Introductions - Formally and Professionally introducing you and your bridal party into the wedding reception - It's each of your 30 seconds of fame.  You and I will pick the perfect bridal party introduction song to fit perfectly with the mood and setting.
  • Toasts and Announcements - Time to settle the guests and center their attention! The wireless micrphone is always available for anyone to speak!
  • Dinner Hour - Again, I'll play a customized and personalized mix of reception music of your choice.  Want to add extra lighting and effects to make your dinner hour extra special and romantic - see the uplighting available.
  • Transition Time - This is the time when you hear the guests get a little less quiet.  I start to play "Transition Music" . . . that stuff that will start to make people tap their feet and dance in their chairs.
  • First Dances - Bride and Groom Dance - This is your special moment on the dance floor followed by Father Daughter Dance, Mother Son Dance and sometimes a Bridal Party Dance.  Sometimes we will plan to do your Bride and Groom First Dance before the dinner, just after bridal party introductions.
  • Open Dancing - Enough Said!  Okay, maybe not.  Usually starting off with general music for all ages, slowly working towards the "younger" stuff at the end of the night.  Don't forget about the Slow sets too.  And I'll never play "unknown" stuff, underground music or "crappy rap."  Your music will be customized to fit you and your guests!
  • Cake Cutting, Bouquet Toss, Garter Tosses - Traditional wedding activities we strategically fit into the evening's time line.  A good time for your guests to catch their breath, a bouquet or a drink at the bar!
  • Other Activities - I will assist and/or coordinate other activities such as the Money Dance, Honeymoon Dance,Anniversary Dance, Gift Giveaways, Centerpiece Giveaways, Games, Etc.  For each, we will customize the right music that is appropriate for each activity.

Don't worry though, the above is simply a general outline of some of the many traditional activities.  During our custom consultation, we will cater and custom your entire night to be 100% to your liking!

  • Main Sound System - All equipment is brand new within 2 years, state of the art, high-end professional gear.
  • Dance Floor Lighting - Included in ALL of my packages.  I don't believe in a dance floor without lighting.  (Unless it's daylight, of course ;)
  • Uplighting Effects - Enhance your room, reception hall, lawn or event center with beautiful uplighting effect.
  • Oh, I forgot to mention that you'll be also receive Awesome DJ Service - ensuring that your guests will be dancing and having a great time.

As discussed previously your event will be 100% perfectly planned and ready to go.  One of my major themes - No Worries!
